reach me outside my skin. where my heart is nonexistent. and my thoughts are worth half the emotion put in it. where everything i does mattered. and everything i did never will. when time wasn't a factor. and nothing we did was sin. when all i did was right.

took off my cool for just a night.
laid my skin beside your bed
woke up in a rush left it there
got pushed away
left my skin
you made me a new skin.
i tried to fit in it
but
there
were too much turns & twist
to fit it.

& the next time i laid by your side
i felt beside myself
i felt as if someone else
had lay where i lied
and this time
